Fairclough Sage Acoustic Dreadnought Guitar with Solid Spruce Top in Satin finish.
Designed in the UK by Steve Fairclough at his base in Warrington with the aim of being able to offer a suitable quality guitar for beginners and intermediate players that would meet his high standards. Fairclough guitars are then produced under strict quality control in the Far East featuring high build quality and the type of fittings only found on higher priced ranges. Add these points to the overall great look and feel of the guitar, the quality of woods. the neck ratio, the rake angle of the strings etc.
The neck is high grade mahogany with 14th fret joint and 20 fret rosewood fingerboard with maple bindings and maple dot inlays with polished nickel frets all topped of with a bone nut and chrome tuners. The bridge is standard Fairclough in Rosewood.
The Blackbird also has an on board Chromatic tuner which has a digital display with sharp and flat lights plus a green in tune led and is fully automatic.
