Danelectro Pro 56 £220.00 |
|
The Danelectro '56 Pro Electric Guitar is a fantastic new limited edition guitar, built for sound and playability.
After guitar production ceased in the last century, Danelectro concentrated on their very well regarded effect pedals, but, after realising that their 'vintage' guitars were trading for silly money, they decided the time was right to start production up again.
Only one model is in production, and available in strictly limited numbers. The '56 Pro features a lightwieght semi-hollow body, 'lipstick tube' single coil alnico pickups and cast bridge, all giving a unique sound and vibe. Simple, upgraded volume and tone controls, aluminium top nut, better fit and finish, an adjustable truss rod are a few of the new features on this model, a significant step up compared to some previous re-issues.
Tone generated is full and round, the pickups are really hot, with loads of resonance, and should be good for a load of different styles. A very cool retro axe with a quality fit and finish, easy playability and that unmistakable Danelectro tone and vibe.
Features:
- Body: Masonite on Laminated Wood Frame
- Neck: Maple, Bolt-on
- Fretboard: Rosewood
- Scale: 25"/635mm
- Frets: 21
- Pickups: 2 x Alnico Lipstick® Single Coils

Fender Telecaster Joe Strummer £650.00 |
|
Forward-thinking cultural icon Joe Strummer (1952-2002) was co-founder, lyricist, rhythm guitarist and lead singer of seminal British punk rock band the Clash.
He later founded, recorded and toured with the Mescaleros. All his life, Strummer vigorously championed individuality, self-expression and change—tenets often reflected in the constantly altered look of his favorite and most recognizable instrument—his Telecaster (currently on display in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland). The Joe Strummer Telecaster is modeled after the ’66 Telecaster Strummer played throughout most of his career. Although the guitar’s appearance changed often, it was a fairly standard ’60s-era Telecaster with all the original parts and specifications.
When Strummer bought it in 1975 for £120, the instrument had a three-color sunburst finish, but he soon had it sprayed with gray primer at a London auto shop, and then later added a coat of black paint. These new “finishes” deteriorated quickly, giving the guitar its distinctive look. Like Strummer’s music, the battered guitar changed constantly—plastered as it was with stencils, stickers and new paint jobs through the many stages of Strummer’s life and career.

Fender Custom Telecaster USA 1962 Reissue £1250.00 |
|
The double-bound alder body and multi-ply pickguard that dressed up the ’62 Telecaster guitar distinguished it from its Butterscotch predecessor. And rosewood, originally introduced for cosmetic reasons because maple was prone to showing wear, quickly grew in popularity with the warmth it added to the classic Telecaster tone. In the spirit of the original, our American Vintage ‘62 Telecaster Custom guitar has a C-shaped maple neck with a 7.25”-radius rosewood fingerboard. It also features a pair of ’62 Custom Tele single-coil pickups, a vintage Tele bridge with threaded steel saddles, and the original Tele circuit with three-position switch. |

Fender Stratocaster Plus USA £895 |
|
The name says it all - it's a Stratocaster...plus. The "plus" was the introduction of a few new design advances: 3 Fender Lace Sensor pickups (originally, 3 Gold Lace Sensors), which were designed to reduce if not eliminate 60 cycle hum; a roller nut; and, locking tuners. All in all, the model's marketing role was that of an upscale American Standard. |

Rickenbacker 325C58 £2650.00 |
|
Described by John Lennon as his "dream guitar", the 1958 Rickenbacker 325 is one of the most famous guitars of all time. Acquired by Lennon in Hamburg in 1960, the 325 became his #1 instrument for many years to come and is most notably seen in the Beatles' performances on The Ed Sullivan Show.
The Rickenbacker 325C58 is an exact replica of the 1958 model played by Lennon down to the last detail including its gold nameplate and pickguard, gold-on-brown knobs, an elongated jack plate, and Kauffman Vibrola (which he later replaced with a more reliable Bigsby, as seen in photo). The 325C58's three Vintage Single Coil Toaster Top pickups, semi-hollow alder body, alder neck and rosewood fret-board make this guitar a dream to play with a sound to match. Available in a Jetglo (325C58 JG) and Mapleglo (325C58 MG) finish, this guitar is as much beauty to look at as it is to play and much like the replica Rickenbacker made famous by George Harrison, is a great tribute to monumental moments in music history. |

Gibson Les Paul 1958 reissue Custom Shop £2795 |
|
The Gibson VOS 58 Les Paul Standard Plaintop is an electric singlecut guitar which follows the VOS (Vintage Original Spec) that make these series of guitars Gibson's next step in their journey towards perfection.
Objects of distinction are seldom recognized immediately, and this was certainly the case when Gibson introduced the newly renamed Les Paul Standard in July of 1958. Having already made several modifications to the base Les Paul Model guitar over the previous two years – the Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece being the most notable changes – the new Les Paul Standard introduced in 1958 hoped to correct Gibson’s waning sales of solid body electric guitars, which had been on the decline ever since 1953 when the company shipped 2,245 instruments.
This guitar comes new complete with hardcase and all case candy, includes certificate of authenticity.
